Hello Hanna,

How's the weather there in Sweden?

I am impressed with your work. I am a beginning artist (like you I haven't attended art school).

I just posted my fifth effort in portraits earlier.

How many years have you been involved in art? I can see by your work you have a deep passion for it.

Hi Hanna

I am also new to the Forum and read your post with interest, as my heritage is Swedish and Norwegian. Checked your site out and was impressed by its joy. Also your self-portrait, you have represented yourself beautifully. How far to the north are you? Evidently I still have relatives in Hammerfest. I believe my soul is still back there and hope to visit someday. Again, beautiful work.

Hi Hanna,

Welcome to the SOG Forum, it's a great place. I just received notice of an exhibition in Stockholm you might be near enough to visit. It's called Impressionism and the North, at the National Museum of Fine Arts. Included are works by Anders Zorn, among others and we're all very envious if you can go see it!
