David Gallup's theory




This thread is a continuation of sorts of the Margaret Livingstone's book on using near values. You can preview her book by looking at this website as it has the same things in it.

Now I have come upon a website where
David Gallup was interviewed and presented his color harmony theory. This is most interesting and I have tested it out and it works great!

He is stating 2 different and distinct ways that he creates these color harmonies.

This theory is located about half way down the page.

I can see where this would apply to every kind of painting. I am adapting all of my painting to this. Most of you probably already know about this type of thing, but for those that don't then this is very helpful.
