This 9x12 pencil portrait of Marilyn Monroe in a Native American war bonnet was commissioned by a client from North Dakota. I combined Marilyn's photo with a war bonnet I made up from the client's description. I used a Blackwing pencil which is 4B pencil on Canson pure-white paper.
