Hello I'm Joe
 

Hey guys I'm a 23 year old painter from Dallas, TX. I have been an artist all my life. I studied painting at RISD and with a Professional Portrait artist Kay Polk. I took all the art classes I could in high school and that's when I realized this is what I wanted to do as a profession.

I enjoy every thing about painting but I really enjoying seeing other artists work. Although I'm very picky as to what I actually like and respect there are some artist I really enjoy such as Sargent and Bouguereau.

The Forum was very active for a long time. There are a number of reasons that it has become so quiet here, which I won't elaborate on. However, if you post thoughts, questions, etc. and people start seeing posting is happening, I think things could be resurrected.

Well Done Joe. What a great opportunity to know now what your passion is. Some of us are only just connecting after the kids have grown up. I look forward to your development.
