First day of school watercolor

These brothers are excited for the first day of school. I added a bit of sunrise yellow to their backs and the background to further brighten their outlook compared to the reference photo shown below. I painted them in this 16x20 portrait with transparent watercolors on Arches 140-lb-cold-pressed paper.
