How does one go about becoming a juried member?
Hello Cynthia,
I've recently returned to the Forum and would like to know how to go from being an associate member to a juried member. I believe my portraits would be deemed acceptable for a juried member status. When I first met you all I was a still-life artist who wanted to paint portraits, but did not know how to. My still-lives were an expression of the people I most wanted to paint-mainly Asian sages. Then, in 2004 I moved to Shanghai, China and began to study with Chinese masters of drawing and painting and learned a lot. I'd love to get critiqued by my fellow members here. BTW, I have enjoyed the Forum in the past, and hope to be an active member. It seems things have slowed down as far as activity goes since the years 2003 and 2004. Still, you do a wonderful job of giving portrait artists a way of connecting with each other. Thank you, Anthony Emmolo |
Hello??? Is it possible to become juried member?
Hello??? Is it possible to become juried member? I'd love to get critiques on my work. I don't know how to become a juried member though. What is the process?

Hi Anthony,
This site may not be actively accepting members - not sure. I think Cynthia posted something about it a while ago. I'm sure she will get around to answering you shortly. |
Thank you for answering Julie,
Do you know if I can post images for critique as an associate member. It is not like my portraits are bad. They are actually very good. I'd just like to push them further. Anthony |
Why don't you try it? If they post, you're set. I've seen your work and it is very good.
