I'm very excited to be a member of this forum. I have been a student at Scottsdale Artist's School for the last few years. I can't remember if it was Linda Brandon or Chris Saper who pointed out the site to me. I think it's wonderful. I've learned so much from searching and reading the posts of others. I have several students, and have often referred to this site for information. I thought that it was about time that I get involved myself.

Aside from class time, I have a difficult time asking people to sit for me for a portrait, and my kids are mostly unwilling, so I do a lot of work from photos right now.
