1 Attachment(s)
Alexandra Tyng was chosen to create a portrait of the founder of the Brandywine Museum, which was unveiled at the Portrait Society of America banquet on Saturday night. The subject of the painting is shown in the far right of the photo, with crutches. Part of her painting can be seen at the left of the image.
Congratulations to Alex! |
Congratulations Alex, I am also sure your speech was as interesting and thoughtful as all of your posts here

Well, I have to say I am relieved that that speech is over! And I am glad if it sounded good. There's quite a difference between knowing what you want to say, and saying it in front of 800 or so people. Thanks, Michele, Ilaria and Garth. I'm going to go over to the Unveiling section now and post the portrait.

Congratulations Alex! I wish I could have heard you speech in person - I would have been very inspired by it! I am looking forward to seeing the painting unveiled here in a moment.

Alex,
Your painting was terrific and your speech was as well. I don't think I could stand in front of 800 people and say anything! - much less a thoughtful and eloquent talk as you did. Congratulations! David |

Let's read your speech text here please. |

Congratulations Alex, for your speech and your wonderful painting.
I'm very proud to know you ! |
Thank you, everyone!
SB, I am sorry to say I don't have the text. At first I wrote it down, but Iater I replaced the written version with a few cues on a 3x5 card. Keep in mind, this was VERY short, something many people would just say off the cuff, without notes. |
