Here are a couple of paintings from the last month or so. These paintings are using a limited palette of Ivory black, yellow ochre and venetian red. I hope you enjoy. You can see these paintings larger at my blog http://aaroncoberly.blogspot.com/

Thanks

Aaron...

Brilliant,
I always admire your paintings and I am not going to be original, telling you these last pieces are very inspiring.
You did a great job with your limited palette, and I especially like Ana's Tuning.
Thank you for sharing them with us.
I wish you great success with your paintings.

Sincerely,
Karine

These are very good, Aaron. Your paintwork is so sure! I am most envious! Really good work.

Aaron, I like the pieces as well, especially the 1st one, which reminds me of old Austrian paintings of men in original Austrian garb, Lederhosen and all. I love the subtle green/gray hues. Please keep posting more and talk about you palette.

Aaron, these are treats for the eyes! Such wonderful brushwork and feeling in the gestures and the way the contours are modeled. Thanks for posting them. I have one question: how did you get the blue?

Aaron, visited your page and I must express my joy to see your dedication.

Your draftsmanship, balanced by your color/values, is so nicely expressed in your work. Thank you for sharing these. It is a pleasure to see your joy expressed in your work.

All the best to you

Aaron, nice and loose works. I am glad you posted the address of your blog, I was on your website often but it didn't look as it was updated frequently. Your blog is already in my favourites list!

Aaron,

Great new pieces. I admire your ability to distill and filter. I think working with a limited palette like yours can make one think more and be more innovative. Great work also in your blog!

Great job, Aaron.

Your figures are very fluid and lively (even though they're seated) and I love the brush strokes.
