Brother and Sister

1 Attachment(s)
Here is a recently completed commissioned portrait. 36" x 48", oil on linen. Unveiling is in the next few days. This is by far the largest painting I have done, but I have another, larger in size, coming up three portraits from now. (did that make sense?)

Here is a link to the larger version, and a smaller version that will show up in this message.

Thanks for looking!

Monique, your painting looks very nice. These kids look so well behaved.

Monique,

You have a skill for composition that really shows up well in this portrait. The relationship between the brother and sister is natural, and you've done a good job of keeping the setting subordinate to the figures.

I apologize for not acknowledging this reply!! Thank you for your comments! The family seemed to absolutely love this when I did the unveiling in their home. Their reactions were priceless!

I'm getting ready to post a new portrait in the WIP to get the ok to wrap it up. Phillip WIP...please let me know what you think about it and any tweaks that may need to take place.

Thanks again!

Enzie, Thanks so much for your comments...yes, infact, they are very well behaved children...the family loved the painting! (I love that part!)

Monique, I can see why they loved this painting. I ditto what Alexandra said.

Monique...very nicely balanced and well-composed. The family should be pleased!

Nice job!--TE
