Marvin on PBS; That's the Ticket!
 

I have been designated as "The Artist of the Week" on "Ticket" a show about the Arts produced by the Long Island PBS affiliate, WLIW.

Those of you who live in the New York Metro (Tri-State) area can watch on Channel 21 this Wednesday, March 21 at 7:30 PM, and Thursday March 23 at 11:30 PM. During the show's opening they they talk about me and my work while showcasing several of my portraits. The paintings remain on display, throughout the shows other segments.

I thought it was interesting, while viewing the studio monitor, how closely the flesh-tones in my paintings compared to those of the show's hostess.

It was a lot of fun to hang out and watch the taping. Maybe now I'll pitch my pilot "Mattelson the sitcom" to NBC!?! Maybe George Clooney should to play me?
