Hello fellow SOG members.

My name is David Clemons. I've been lurking at this site for a few years, had some technical difficulties joining, but finally managed to walk in the door, and it's a lovely place you've got here. I recognize a few names from other forums, so I should not feel like a stranger to some.

As for myself, I'm a born-and-raised East Texan. After getting a BFA from UT-Austin, I traveled around the states and settled on the West Coast for several years - LA for a bit doing concept art and animation in film and video, and later the Bay Area. There was a couple years spent in Montreal up until last year, and now I'm back in Texas.

Most of my professional art experience has been in advertising and illustration, and for the last 14 years as a production artist for video games. I'm gradually trying to retire from commercial clients and get into the gallery world; at least, that's my current plan as I build up a better portfolio.

My website in my signature link has samples of the sort of work I've been involved with and some recent art as well. Feel free to browse there and comment as you see fit.

Thanks -DBC
