Identify this artist?
 

Hi Ya'll!

I have not posted in a while because I have been real busy with my portrait and photography business, but I knew exactly where to tap some great portrait and figurative minds for this question. A friend sent me this image in the hopes of identifying it for her. It is a print that she has but there is no signature on the bottom. If any one can help I would appreciate it.

I instantly recognized it - James Tissot.

Also known as: The Garden Bench, 1882
by Jacques Joseph Tissot - also James Tissot.

Ahh! Tissot! I knew the great artistic minds on this site would come to my rescue.

My friend's aunt passed and left all of the art in her home to my friend. This print was framed in 1937 according to the tag on the back. She plans on having all of the art appraised but must wait for all of the estate division to take place.

I looked up some other artists of interest while I was there! There is lots of infomation and high res images. What more could you ask for.
