It may post too dark, Ive had trouble getting a decent photo of this one. Just for informational sake - the background is a deep purple.

Wow Kimberley! She has a mesmerising look, well done. Shame we can't get full value from those richly coloured strokes.

Kim, her expression is so smoky and only partially readable. And those eyes! There's a very slight cast to her left (our right) eye that makes me feel as though, while she's staring at me, she's also thinking something she'll never divulge to anyone, not even if you tried to force her to tell.

I also like the dynamic complosition. I wish I could see the true color in the background. But I can see some dark and vibrant violets in the skin. Beautiful!

Kim, she seems like a trapped bad girl with a slightly incongruous facial expression. The more I look at it the more interesting this painting becomes. I also love the composition and the yellow/black/white color scheme.

Hi Kim, I was waiting to comment on this, hoping you might get a photo that reflected the colors a little better. . . I bet that deep purple is really lovely. Wanted to say though, how well you've captured that sort of guilty but defiant look. . . . sort of ambiguous as to whether there might be some repentance there but certainly an unwillingness to admit any. Very potent stuff.

I apologize for the quality of the photo. I did have it scanned and it looked wonderful on their Mac. I got it home and it still looks blown out in the gown...but I will post the new version anyways.

Here is a close-up of the gown color adjusted to be correct on my computer anyway...
