I like the portrait of the fire-worker and respect the job they / you do out there, since I recently had a dramatic experience with lightning and the thatch on my house. They managed to stop the fire before it went inside the house. It is a tough job.

As you may know, there's anothe firefighter on board here as well: Sergio Ostroverhy . I bet you share some things in common. I enjoyed seeing your firefighting themed paintings on your website.

I'm just curious, not knowing if you've ever met the guy, but there's another unrelated Garth Herrick living in your neck of the woods. It would be interesting for me to make contact with him some day.

Welcome, Paul! I hope you participate a lot, because I guarantee you will find it informative and fun. I, too, slunk around the Forum for about a year or so before I joined, and I never dreamed I'd learn as much or "meet" as many artists.
