Well, 4.5 billion years on, and she's a little beat up and frayed around the edges (especially lately).

But still beautiful.

With love to all at this time of year, whatever your faith...

Tom

Merry Christmas to you too. :santa:

:santa: All those big battles seem small from this perspective.

I think I can see my hurricane.

Merry Christmas Tom, and everyone else as well.

I thought I would share this photo.

It is our first Christmas in our new house, and it will be a lovely white one. This is 1/3 of the way through the storm that rocked the mid west today.

HoHoSnowSnow...

:)

Beth,

Nice digs. I took this picture today - part of the heat wave that has rocked western Florida.

This little gal decided to build herself a kind of sofa, with a billboard in front.

Beth,

Take care, I just heard on the news that it is a VERY NASTY one.

The best to you and yours during this Holiday Season and enjoy your beautiful new house.

Elizabeth Schott 12-22-2004 10:58 PM

Thanks Sharon, and I certainly return those sentiments to you!

Actually this storm was, sorry for the pun... a real ice breaker! Our house is 1/2 mile from the road and the drive approaching the house is so steep, it's impossible today to get up to the house. THEN, the house has decks everywhere and steps, steps, steps. We have yet to learn the secret (meaning wood) to getting them cleaned off properly so they are usable. So far a broom is the trick.

I am hoping Santa's sleigh comes and picks up this commission that is for a Christmas gift, because I have no idea how to get out of here. But this is a nice way to be stranded!

Mike you and the babes... never ending! :) Oh how I miss Florida!
