A commissioned portrait for a fireman from Seattle (Bellevue),
19"/25", pastel.

I worked on that portrait about 50 hours.

Wow Sergio, your pastel looks so smooth and controlled.

I think it is interesting to see you working on a smaller scale too.

I think it is quite small already: 50/65cm, 19/25inch... if it would be smaller then the details would not be precise enough.

Sergio, sorry if you thought I was saying you should work smaller, I meant, it's unusual for us to see a work this size from you.

It's always a revelation to see your unique work. Incredible!! Very intense, too!

I tied here a new paper... a sand paper, so it accelerated the process considerably... even if I do not think the result is sufficiently precise.
