I think we've almost got enough for an all portraitist / lawyer basketball team.

Thanks for the comments guys, and thanks for no lawyer jokes. If there are any coming, lets go ahead and get them out of the way.

As for similarities between art and law, they both involve manipulation of perceptions. Actually, there is very little similarity, I usually have a right brain left brain train wreck to resolve on a daily basis.

Are there any alternatives to the basketball team, didn't someone mention darts?

Welcome George,
I can never remember which side of the brain is artistic and which is analytical but for portraiture I believe it takes both sides. I am an accountant by day and artist on weekends and evenings! If you have been practicing law as long as I have been working as an accountant then you might be as eager as I am to move more into the artist's half of the brain.

I know you will enjoy participating in this forum. As you have already experienced here, these talented artists have so much knowledge, and they are generous with their advice, their humor, their invaluable insight!!
