2004 PSOA Boston Conference
 

Anyone care to report on the Portrait Society conference this past weekend in Boston? I wish I could have been there but I'll have to rely on the accounts of others who were fortunate enough to attend, instead.

More will be filtering in. I'm hanging in DC for a few days before I drive back to Florida.

Here's a few photos I managed to take. Wish I'd gotten more, but I was either at my booth or running back to my room for a break most of the time. Below in sequence are Peggy Baumgaertner, Bill Chambers (on my site - he's on the left), John Michael Carter (on my site - in jeans) and his wife Barbara who sells gold leaf frames and Ann Kenyon who was formerly on my site and always demonstrates at the show.

About the image next to Peggy B, did she do this as a demo at the conference? It looks pretty refined for a demo, is this sauce?

Yes, that is a sauce demo that Peggy did in the vendor's room. Peggy, correct me if I'm wrong.

Do you think we could twist Peggy's arm and have her post it here? I'd love to get a better look at it.
