Small, but a first for me...
 

I have been attending life drawing classes and portrait drawing classes at the Beck Center for the Arts, in Lakewood, Ohio for two years. Each spring they have a student exhibit in their gallery. The Center for arts is extremely busy six days/evenings a week with Art Education, Creative Art Therapies, Professional Theater. The Center also has a formal gallery sponsored by the Cleveland Artist's Foundation.

This is the first time anything of mine is up for the public to view. Four of my pieces were accepted, "Molly", "Kevin", "Rachel" and "Study after Rubens". What a thrill it was to walk through the gallery to my class Tuesday and see them on the walls!

It's a beginning!

You are certainly well deserving to have your work exhibited to the public. I have really enjoyed seeing your steady progress here. You seem to be very passionate about your work and it shows. I'm sure this is the first of many to come.
