This is my 18 year old daughter. I took this photo today and I kinda like it.

I really don't like outdoor photography in the winter time (in Ok.). Unless you have some sort of snow theme going things just seem all gray and lifeless. So, I tried to take out as much of the environment as I could.

Thanks Mary,

She had the good fortune to resemble her mother.

I was on a mission to take a simple head photo of my daughter, one that I could paint and have incorporated onto the front of her graduation mail outs. I took a whole roll of film with my camera set to underexpose by 2 f stops. I had put the camera into this condition the day before and failed to set it back. The following is a result of that underexposure. This was very close to my objective but I am having a difficult time recreating it with better lighting. You would think it wouldn't be that hard.
