Tom Edge Article

Today I received the latest issue of the Portrait Society of America's quarterly magazine, "The Art of the Portrait." It contained, to my pleasant surprise, a double page spread featuring my buddy Tom Edgerton. Very impressive.

Congratulations Tom. Well deserved.

I saw that, too, and add my congratulations to Tom. What fun to see a familiar face and such lovely work!

I just saw it also. Tom, congratulations on a wonderful article. It featured the sort of intelligent and incisive comments we have come to expect from you in this Forum.

Congratulations Tom.

Is there a link anywhere where this might be available online to read? Or post part of it?

Thanks a lot, guys...

There are many, many more accomplished, but I'm glad for the exposure of course.

We're just down South here trying to get better. Marvin helped a great deal with this last June.

Love to all my compatriots,
TE

Yeah!

Good for you!
Would love to see it!

Congratulations, Tom. Makes me want to sign up as a member of the PSA just to get the article!

Your skill and charm have graced the SOG forum for a while, and now all those other PSA members will get to benefit from your wisdom and warmth, too.

Congratulations!

Dear Tom,

A well-deserved Congratulations to you! I have learned quite a bit from your postings here, can't wait to see the article.

 Magdalena

Dear Tom,

Please accept my congratulations to being published. As I read through your article, I had to agree with you that one can learn a great deal from reading through books, yet one can learn volumes from fellow artists, especially those who are further advanced in skill.

I also find that being recognized as a master by your contemporaries is the ultimate sense of accomplishment. After all, when the competition takes off its hats, it must be quite a statement!

Way to go Tom from your nearest intimidated painting neighbor during Marvin's class in Carolina recently. I too saw your article, to my great surprise, and felt so privileged to have stood next to such a great artist.

I have not been participating in this forum for a while due to over extending myself in other areas, including getting involved with the retail aspects of art.

Just wanted to pop in for a brief moment to say that I enjoyed the article and still have that invite standing to visit here in West Virginia.

Congrats
