Member wins first place

Alicia Kornick won first place in the city of Springfield's mural contest today! Her painting consisted of two early founders of the city complete with wagon and cows painted on a old piece of picket fencing. Maybe we can entice her to post a photo of it!

Here it is. Painted on an old section of fencing size six feet high by eight feet wide. The reference was an old black and white photograph taken in 1920. I met the grandaughter who is 80 and she remembered the oxen!

Thanks everyone and yes Denise it was HOT. We have decided to add a garage and a STUDIO! As soon as we decide where to place it.
