Mike, this is a terrific painting. I love all those soft edges, and you have really captured that facial expression.

This is so beautiful! And the expression is just so adorable. How did you achieve the soft look with her hair? Did you use dry brushes around the edges (of her hair) for this?

I do use a dry brush on the outside edges.

My first post of this image above indicated that this was 16 x 20, yikes! That would have been one big head. Should have been 12 x 16. Who was assigned to catch my mistakes that day?

Admin note: Must have been my root canal day! Actually I will go correct it as is, vertical length should be listed first :)
