Spencer, the blacksmith
 

Well, here I go. First, let me say that I really need to get a camera for better representation of my artwork. This is so dark orange and it is nowhere near that. I love this old man. Actually, I have done him before in watercolor but just had to do him again in oils.

The is a 40" x 30" oil, unfinished but in progress. I will post a close-up, too. In doing this one I had a problem with his wrinkles, so any input there will be appreciated. Please critique.

Here is one close-up, sort of. I tried to "tweak" the color a little bit to rid it of the orange. I may post one more and would like any input.
