New digital cameras

I understand there are some great new awesome digital cameras coming out soon with huge abilities using full-sized lens. Anyone heard of these? What's the price?

Hi, Tim.

The new Nikon D-100 SLR digital which accepts all D type Nikon lenses (most manual and auto-focus Nikon lenses, actually). It costs between $1,750 and $2,000; it has all the important functions and a built-in flash (which we portrait painters will never use, right?).

Not as rigidly built as the other two Nikon SLR digitals but at half the price. It is an excellent SLR - especially if you already have Nikon lenses. Just be careful when buying it to get the US warranty and NOT the grey market product.

Kodak

There's also a Kodak with a street price of $3K. I hear Kodak is better with digital than one might suspect. It's something like 15 megabytes of info per shot.
