Hello from Italy
Hello!
I've recently been accepted in this forum and today I 've finally gathered the courage to introduce myself: my name is Alessandra, I'm from Italy, (please, forgive my bad english) and I'm trying to pursue a career in portraiture and figurative paintings. I'm aware that I have a long way to go, lots of things to learn and to improve,but... that's the reason why I'm here! I've already learned so much, just by reading through the threads, and I hope to continue to learn, with the help of all of you. My medium of choice has been until now pastels, and I' ve recently started painting with acrylics and I look forward to start with oils, as well... Welcome, Alessandra! I see we share the same name. Though I am not Italian, I was born in Italy and people called me Alessandra when I was much too young to remember. I checked out your blog and really enjoyed looking at your work. Hope you post some of it (including details) on the forum so we can take a closer look.
