From London
Dear all,
Never in six years in this town I felt so strongly to be a Londoner. This city, like New York and Madrid before it, did not deserve such cruelty. The blasts, so close to the British Museum, a testimony and tribute to all the cultures of the world, have left the town on its knees. Do keep us all in your thoughts Ilaria |
Ilaria,
You are deeply in my thoughts and my prayers. London holds a huge place in my heart. My heart is so heavy for you and all Londoner today. It is a magical, a beautiful city full of equisite architecture and art... |
Dear Ilaria,
Yes, all of our thoughts are with you and your country. Waking up to another nightmare like this is horrible beyond words. |

Ilaria,
Glad that you are safe. You are all in my prayers. This is not just our fight, it has spilled out to innocent people everywhere. There is no way to reason with insanity or to understand it. Alicia |
Illaria,
Glad you are safe and so sad that the same cannot be said of everyone in London. Carolyn |
Carolyn, but what a composure among the british people, what a dignity.

Today we may say aloud before an awe-struck world: "We are still masters of our fate. We are still captain of our souls."
Winston Churchill September 9, 1941 |
Oh no.
I'm afraid to turn on the news. |
Ilaria, stay safe. How horrible, just dreadful.
|
The images seen here on TV today were all too familiar. Brought back memories that are still fresh and that we all want to forget. Glad too see you are okay. Keep safe. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Ilaria, my thoughts are with you also. I'm reminded today of all the terror attacks over the past few years, and I so admire and respect the people who have come through with such courage. I pray that these monsters get what they deserve.

Incredible, yesterday I feared this town would bear indeleble scars from the bombing, today instead it was business as usual, with respect for the victims and their families but with the responsability of holding each one his own post.
Brits, what a people! I. |
Ilaria,
So glad you are safe. . . watched with horror yesterday the news coverage from London. The resilience and determination of the London people today has been heartening to see. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. |
Dear all,
We pray with you here from Denmark. I don't know how to express my feelings on this. Teers have been flowing these last few days....for London for the world.
Be safe and God bless! Mikael |
