I am delighted to annouce my association with John Howard Sanden through his new website, "The World of Portrait Painting"

As a member of John's National Review Board, I'll be contributing articles in the new series, "Portraiture and the Pursuit of Excellence." In the coming months, you'll see articles on topics such as the nature of excellence, controlling your reference material, getting started in the business of portraiture, establishing your business identity, creating your portfolio and the importance of original samples.

Chris, this is such a good opportunity for you. Congratulations! I checked out the site and I became totally absorbed reading Sanden's biography. It's always fascinating to read about the choices a person makes and where they lead. I'll be looking forward to reading your contributions and seeing other additions to the site.
