Give my regards to Jeremy when you see him. I have enjoyed his art for some time now and wish that he would join the party.
Anyway, he is a fine painter and deserves to be recognized.

Geez, you guys were all painting all this time? I thought everybody was just hanging out on the Internet forums.

Well, this explains a lot -- and with great results. Congratulations. I figure you're going to work out how to have a big SOG party somehow, somewhere in Dallas -- before, during or after the barbecue. (Stay away from Southfork, though -- somebody always winds up fighting and tossed in the pool with a perfectly good plate of beef.) (Actually . . . that might be fun, too.)

And I can say I knew you when you were just Forum bloggers.

Congratulations all!

I knew you was contendahs!

I have admired all these painting individually and thought they were all beauties recognized or not.

Have fun and success in Dallas!

Big Congrats to all. Look forward to seeing you all in Dallas. And especially looking forward to seeing Alex's wonderful painting up close and in person!

I think it's only fair to post Jeremy's painting here as well.

The photo does not do this painting justice... it's a beautiful piece in person. I saw this paintings progression as he painted it...

40x30 on linen...

This one will be hard to beat...

Look how those quiet colors sing out so clearly! Nice lush invented luminosities and textures. Tony, send Jeremy my congratulations, and invite him over here.

Garth
