Many thanks.
I have really come to love painting teenagers of all ages. At 13 ( as in this painting) she is the last of 'child', and the beginning of the woman she will be. At 17 or 18, she wil be mostly woman, with still part of child. PS Henry! I miss you around this place! |
Wow! Chris what beauty you have portrayed in more ways than words can speak.
I hope to one day attend one of your workshops. I'm inspired, thank you. |
Beautiful, Chris!

Chris, that's a lovely painting of your daughter; she looks so mature to be only about to be bat mitzvah, though! Is she really that sophisticated?
I did a line drawing - from life - of my son for his bar mitzvah and used it on the invitations and thank you cards. When it was our daughter's turn she decided she'd rather have a horse. |
Thank you again, everyone.
Leslie, I think that every Bat Mitzvah invitation shoud feature a portrait! For my kids, I printed the portrait on the cover of the service booklet ( I was furiously printing three days prior...) Ha, can't blame your daughter, she knows she'll still get the portrait :) And yes, Alexandra is that sophisticated - she was pretty much that way at three. |
Sound?
Chris,
this is good painting, but I think, that maybe you must work more with sound. Ivo. |

Background!
Chris,
I think, that you must work only with white-hall(with background),that it must be more sounding. This young lady is very good! Ivo Timusk http://www.hot.ee/ivotimusk/moscowKAU/index_uus.html |
Chris,
What can I say that has not already been said? Ditto! She is beautiful. |
Chris, I think you must have posted this while I was on vacation. .. stumbled across it while looking for a different post. She's beautiful and beautifully done.
