This was a Bill Whitaker assignment. I'm grateful for his help and encouragement. One of Bill's other students came up and took a closer look while I was still drawing this. I proceeded to tell her that this was one of the most beautiful hands I'd ever seen. She replied "That is my hand." Bill had used her as a hand model, and I had no idea. :)
(for some reason my scan didn't turn out so great, I'll try re-posting a new cleaned up version later)

I was just reading through this thread to try and get some inspiration. I'm having BIG problems with the hands on a painting I'm in the middle of and came across this. Ilaria has been giving me some very helpful tips and I was thinking the same thing about her name yesterday.

If we had 'artist names' do you think it would help with the painting, if so I'm off down to the solicitors tomorrow ;)
