Thanks Jennifer, looking at all these beautiful cards gives me a greenstreake :D. How'd you get that great name?

Jennifer Geary 04-11-2002 06:45 PM

Hi Mike!

Redstreake is a family name, my mother's maiden name, to be exact. I took it as my middle name when I started to do artwork more professionally. It is a great artsy name, doncha think? hehe..

Chris,

It seems like the smaller, finer font is classier than the bolder font on the Great American Printing card. Is there a special reason for the difference?

Chris Saper 04-14-2002 09:20 PM

Hi Rochelle,

I like the original font better too, although I just don't have it in my computer. Each time I reprint I remind myself to buy more fonts, but I haven't done so yet. The larger font is actually fine, not as garish in real-life-scale as it appears on the post. The shape and sans-serif are consistent with my other marketing materials. I am down to about 200 or so, so I must spend time thinking about reprinting. Not to mention what new image I might want to use.

Great American gives you many boilerplate designs and font choices, or you can provide your own. Their turnaround time is also quite fast BTW

Chris
