Congratulations Tony! When Chris said "PSA" in the title, I was thinking ...I didn't know you did pastels, but wow - it's for the Portrait Society! Fantastic! Just think only 10 and you are one.

Holy smokes!!!
Thank you all for the support and comments. Here are the close ups requested. I look forward to meeting many of you. See you there! And yes the painting will be there... God willing! Tony |
I hope we both do well in the top thirteen!
Congratulations Tony!!! I can't wait to see your painting in DC. You are a remarkable strong painter. I was not surprised at all with you being chosen in the top finalists.
Thanks for those close-ups; they are delicious! Best, Garth |

Congratulations to both of you.  Allan |
Allan,
Yes, but SHHHH! Quiet! This thread is in honor of Tony, and deservedly so. Other familiar Portrait Artist Forum names on the winners' list include Linda Brandon, David Kassan, Marvin Mattelson, Sergio Ostroverhy, and Chris Saper. Tony and myself are finalists and delivering our work to the PSOA conference for further judging. Linda and David have been awarded merit prizes, and Marvin, Sergio. and Chris are receiving special certificates of recognition, each. Garth |
Congratulations, Tony! Thanks also for posting the closeups.
The head has an elegant, classical look about it that makes me wonder if you studied at the Water Street Atelier. Did you? I look forward to meeting you at PSA! |
Congratulations, Tony! Well-deserved! What a great group we have.

Congratulations Tony, your painting is just incredible!
