Mari,

Thanks for thinking about your Forum buddies and posting your photos. I have always loved Remington's work, and William Whitaker's portraits are stunning. I wonder if his flesh pallette is posted anywhere. I have been to his web site and didn't see it. His skin tones are luscious. Not that it would help me, I probably have to strugggle many more years with mixing.

Glad you enjoyed the trip.

I favor the highest quality pigs bristle filbert brushes. I mostly use #2, #6, #8. I like the filberts because I can do fine work with the edge of the brush.

Mike,

You are a dear. I like the Belize portrait very much. It has captured the essence of the beach and the wind and by the way, great hair.

On the photo references I like the first one. She is a beautiful girl, but she looks softer in the first one. The light may be a bit intense, but her expression is much better.
