Very nice. I really like the drapery. You really did a great job! :) If you have some drawings of Bouguereau's, you might want to copy them, too. They are excellent exercise.

Thank you

Hello, Josef, thank you for your comments. I just visited your website. Is Bouguereau your favourite artist?

Pong, I worship the man. He is my favorite artist aside from Van Dyck and Michelangelo. His colors and tones in his paintings are just incredible. If you have a chance to be face to face with one of his paintings, I am sure your jaw will drop. Mine does every time. I am very lucky to have a Bouguereau here in the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. Also, there is an excellent study of a girl's head in Toronto, Ontario. (A six-hour drive.)

I just discovered another Bouguereau site here in the Forum last night. It is very complete. You can find drawings, paintings, and oil sketches. Check it out. :)

Josef, can you give me an idea which site you're referring to, or which thread you found it in? I'd like to add the link here.

Thanks.

Steven, I got the site from the category "Artists of the Past" and it was posted by Steven Rosati.
