Pay Homage to the SOG founder Cynthia
Each year on this special day, I recall the legend of SOG, which played a pivotal role in my art career.
This year, I received greeting from two of my past clients. While I expect I might have a new start in the next year, I can not forget how hard Cynthia worked, and how I should change my scenario for a dutiful professional
Meanwhile, I will have an announcement around the midsummer of the next year for my book. The world is full of mystery, I wish I could go further in digging more myth in the portrait world as well.

Thanks to Cynthia
Without Cynthia and SOG I wouldn't have the career I do now (painting illustrious subjects, meeting such interesting people, being able to work at home while I raised my kids and learning to become a professional artist). I literally learned how to do this job on the SOG Forum.
Couldn't have done any of it without you, Cynthia! A million thanks.

Thank you, Cynthia!
Thank you, Cynthia, for starting the SOG forum and maintaining it through its many years of growth and change.
I was a "lurker" for several years before I finally decided to join. I quickly found a supportive, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable community of artists doing the same thing I was doing. My learning curve jumped exponentially. And I made true friends over the internet, because these artists used their real names and were, it turned out, pretty much exactly the same in person as they seemed online. So this SOG experience spilled over into real life as I met artists I already "knew," at events like the Portrait Society conference and the Portraits, Inc. seminars, even local and regional events. The mutual support has been wonderful, and none of it would have happened without Cynthia's brainchild, the SOG site and forum.

This is very nice of you all. I'm afraid I've been so busy that I am only now seeing it.
Unfortunately, it seems the Forum is past it's day as people now put their time more into blogging and social media.
By the way, SB Wang posted on my birthday. Amazing that he remembers my birthday every year. How sweet! Thank you!
