Hi, my name is Svetlana. I am from Russia and i am a self-taught painter or trying to become one. I am very happy to be here, since in my offline life i feel very isolated from the painting world. Although my parents did major in painting they haven't practiced since university and there really isn't much they can teach me.
I am studying mostly from books and practice. Also it is very difficult to find models for real sittings therefore i mostly paint from photographs which i take for this purpose
But i am hoping to find ways to paint from life more. I know i have huge problems with drawing and form but i really hope it is possible to overcome them. Thank you for your attention and happy to meet all of you!
