Katie Baby




Okay...here's another portrait I finished today. I like this one a lot better than my last post. This one was taken outside in natural lighting and I just love her expression. We were playing peek-a-boo and I snapped her right when she popped up. This was my very first pic of her.

I didn't do much to the background because I didn't want it to take away from the picture. There was just grass in the background anyway. I'm not sure where I want to place the mat. I don't really want the hands showing, so I didn't spend much time on them.

Please give any critiques! Thanks!

I just want to add that this photo looks a little "washed-out". The actual portrait doesn't seem so "white".

Any critiques or comments are very much welcomed.

She's adorable. Great expression. I would suggest using a color other than black for the shadows; this will liven up the portrait.

Thank you Eileen. I really loved working on this portrait. I really appreciate you taking the time to critique it. I will add some color to the shadows.
