Pool player
This photograph was taken in a pool hall with my Mamiya 645 medium format film camera with 400 asa film. This camera is pretty much an antique and doesn't even have a light meter, so I guessed at the exposure: aperature 2.8, and a shutter speed of 1/30.
The only light used was the light hanging over the pool table. I had someone tip the light up towards the subject. There was no reason for this to come out well. The subject is a genuine pool hustler and stands 6' 8'' tall.
