On May 17 2016, I was privileged to attend the unveiling of my portrait in Washington DC. The event was attended by about 250 people and included remarks by Ms Napolitano, DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson and Deputy Director Mayorkas.

Congratulations, Chris. Lovely work! I very much appreciate the way Ms. Napolitano appears to have paused briefly and is acknowledging you. You've avoided the all-too frequent sense in portraits generally that the only thing on the subject's mind is holding still.
