Jim Riley in American Artist Watercolor magazine
Several months ago a writer for American Artist Watercolor magazine after visiting my web site at Stroke of Genious asked if I would be interested in doing an article for the Winter edition of their quarterly publication. She liked my work even though only one of the posted samples of my work is a watercolor. I explained that I do not encourage watercolor commissions but found a lot of value in using the medium to better my efforts in my oil portrait work.
I received samples of the magazine from the printer on11/24 and it will be available in late November or December as the Winter 2010 issue.
