Progressions of my paintings on Facebook

Hello everybody,

This summer I am painting a new series of paintings. On my Facebook account I show the progressions of my works. Maybe you are interested in seeing them.
At this moment everything is in the underpainting stage, but I will soon start adding color.

Click on this line to visit my Facebook 'On the easel'-album

Feel free to ask your technical questions in this thread, I will try to answer as quickly as possible.

Below you can see a photo of a painting in the underpainting stage.

Greetings,
Peter

I use a toned ground. The brownish/ orange of the background (it doesn't look that orange in real life) is the toned ground. You can see that in all areas. in this stage.
I used a mixture of yellow ochre and raw umbre for this. (Talens brand) I mixed only turpentine with this to dilute the paint.

On that ground I used raw umbre to paint her and a mixture of raw umbre, some yellow ochre and white to heighten the underpainting.
