What to use as an intermediate varnish
I am wondering what to use as an intermediate varnish when I'm finished with a painting and it needs to be delivered to the client. I read just recently that you should not use Liquin but they did not say what you should use instead. My paintings really need something to unify the colors and get rid of the "dead" spots. Any suggestions?

I would use retouch varnish. However, I would be careful which one, because there are a few that can't be applied too soon. There's plenty of info on this site about the subject, and also at www.amien.org.
