Military dad drawing by Mike Theuer
A son commissioned this 8x10 pencil portrait of his military dad. I drew it with a Blackwing pencil which is 4B on Canson pure-white paper.

This is really nice, Mike.
Could you offer any details about how you market these pencil drawings. We have no secrets from one another here.

Mike,
I like this very much, and I'm sure your client was pleased. The various ways in which you use the pencil(s) are descriptive with respect to textures and make the portrait more interesting to look at.

Thanks, Alexandra! Just one pencil, a 4B.
