Guidelines For Posting In Critiques




I originally created the Forum as a learning platform for artists who are seriously interested in a full-time professional career in portraiture or for those who are already full-time professionals who would like to improve their skills. It was never intended as an art social club or a place for those who are just dabblers and hobbyists, in case any are members. I have nothing against dabblers and hobbyists, but this Forum was not created for that. This doesn't mean as current or future professionals that you can't have fun and cut jokes...by the way, the prize for humor goes to Mike McCarty.

Lately, we (meaning the Forum board) have noticed a lot of responses to critiques where the poster simply says
