I can't resist responding. I am still working on my first tube of Burnt Sienna (you know, I am just not an earth tone kind of painter). I bought it at the UW bookstore in 1971. The price is still on the tube: (Permanent Pigments): $.55. It's almost gone now, but the consistency is still good.
