This is paintable but I hope you can come up with a better photo if possible. Is this an old photo? Can another one be taken?

Because of the way this photo has been taken, there are a couple of thorny areas to be aware of:

The shadow must be removed if the mullion goes. It would be hard for me to invent light here.

Your shadows appear too dark and your light appears too light in this photo as your values "clump" on both ends of the value scale. This makes it difficult to really see the halftones (at least on my computer monitor).

Thanks Karin for the input.

I decided that I could not realistically take out the mullion since it casts those shadows on her face.

It is not an old photo, but getting more would be a problem.

The value differences are better on the actual photo.

Wish me luck. It is not perfect, but I am going to have a go anyway.
