Thank you, Tom! Your appreciation means a lot!

The Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine website doesn't seem to have links to the articles--well, of course! Then why would you buy the magazine?--so I'm linking to my blog, where you can click on the image and get an enlarged version which should be readable. Here's the link:

Opening Reception

Here are some photos from the reception.

1) That's me with my husband Steve.
2) Here I am with my sister, Sue Ann Kahn (a musician).
3)You can see there were some paintings I had forgotten to sign. Those last-minute details! My friend Diana Ansley (an artist) is watching.

Here are a few more. . . .

1) My sister talking with some friends. That's Wolf Kahn (no relation) with his back to the camera.

2) Deep in conversation (L to R): Peter Trippi, editor of Fine Art Connoisseur Magazine, Brad Marshall, another Fischbach artist, and Nancy Bea Miller, artist and SOG forum member, who also wrote the text for the article on my landscapes in FAC magazine.

Alex,
this looks like a nice clean place to exhibit.

Your out of door paintings rule the wall and show us why we have to take care of this our only planet, it's beautiful !!!

The larger views seems to incorporate the roundness of it, reminding us how fragile this limited place is.

Congratulations and good luck

Thank you, Allan. You are so right about our fragile planet. It is so vast, yet small. I think the reason I like painting aerial views is that, from up in the air, I see how land and sea are interconnected, and how much beauty there is when the human presence is kept in balance with nature.

The Fischbach Gallery has a great space with a view of the East River. A very nice place to have a show.
