I hope it is OK for me to be so bold and post (with his permission) Marvin Mattelson's portrait of Cardinal Egan.
This took 1st Place at the PSOA as mentioned in the thread about the convention, but I just thought it deserved a more prominent showcase, mainly because I think it's my favorite that Marvin has done.
Since Marvin is so busy with all the BIG commissions now to post on forums, (he is painting another Cardinal - and who knows - in the future he may be doing a Pope), and I was lucky enough to study with him I just need to brag "on him"!
